OK... so I spent 3 hours digging through my apartment last night looking for my databook... no luck. Anyone feel like pulling out their databook and listing out the mileages from the Metro North train in New York to the Ten Mile river campsite in CT for me? Hopefully I'll find it when I look again tonight, but just in case. Thanks in advance!

Hi, I assume you are talking about the Appalachian Trail Metro North station? I see from Wingie's book that the station is at mile 741.2 and the 10 Mile River shelter is at mile 731.2. Should be a fun day's hike and a great weekend for it, too!

Yep. Thanks! And that first shelter is about 6 miles in if I remember. Should make for a nice relaxing hike! Great weather... can't wait. This is the first chance I've had to get out this year... sad but true.

I printed it out and plan to use it for my thru hike. It's not as detailed as some guide books, but some things can be figured out along the way.
