I have the final patch ready to go to development. But I don’t know about the bumper stickers. I am going to spring for the first 100 patches out of my own pocket. But I can not spring for both the patches and the bumper stickers.

Like I said I am getting the first 100 patches. But if we want bumper stickers then I will need some help in the finances for the stickers. If we want to get 250 bumper stickers we are looking at $400. If we want 500 bumper stickers then we are looking at $500. We can get less then these quantities but the less we order the more expensive they are.
So I guess this is a plea for help. If anyone would like to help with getting the bumper stickers then you can post here or my email address at [email protected] and let me know who you are and how much you are willing to donate. I will keep track of everyone that is willing to donate. I will not take the donations until I know we have enough to order them.

I will be ordering the patches within the week. They said it takes a month to get them once they have been placed on order.

ATtroll, put me down for $20. Let me know when you want it and where to send it. With almost 1400 members this should work if even only a small percentage help.

Troll-put me down for $50. Also, who is doing the b-stickers? Someone local or on the web. I ask because I have a hiking b-stcker I am designing.

And of course a patch

I am getting them done local. But they are farming it out to someone else. I have not gotten the details on it yet. I only got the prices and the design done.

Before you (or we) buy 500 stickers, do you honestly think you'll be able to sell 500? There can't be but 50-100 (if that) active members on this board.

yikes correct the spelling. I didn't even notice it till it was pointed out on the other forum.

The spelling has been corrected since the post you read in the other thread. But thank you looking out for us anyway.

I know we will not sell 500. But the more we buy the less it is. If we only buy 100 it will cost us something like $3.50 a sticker. I was hoping to get it down to $0.95 per sticker. But if I can not get $400 to $500 then I will get what I can get with the money that I have.

OFF TOPIC (Sort of)
I really like this bumper sticker. (http://www.backpackinglight.com/cgi-bin/backpackinglight/00136.html) I think I might actually buy one.

what about setting up a CafePress shop? They'll do bumper stickers, T's, etc. at no cost to you and you don't have to worry about selling X number of whatever item.

It's a thought.

Just in case you put it on your pack. That 0.255 oz might break your back.

Cafe Press is a company that prints a logo that you create on a variety of items-- T-shirts, notebooks, bumper stickers, post cards, etc. I have one such shop on my site. (my shop is located here (http://www.cafepress.com/uberpest) .

To set up a shop, check out this link (http://www.cafepress.com/cp/info/storeref.aspx?refby=uberpest)

If this is the route you'd like to go, I'm sure there are more than enough talented folks in these forums who'd do a graphic or two for you (myself included).

CafePress now has its 2004 wall calendar up. You get your own pics together (13 total-- 12 months and a cover photo) and they print a calendar with a different picture each month. It would be kind of cool to get photos from the trail contributed for something like that.
