Rain Man

Just received from the Georgia AT Club--
"Due to the heightened risk of fire the Forest Service has imposed a forest wide fire ban. This ban went into effect for the entire Chattahoochee- Oconee National Forest May 2 and will last until conditions improve. It is expected that it will take more than just a day of rain to negate the extremely volatile situation in the forest. There have been numerous forest fires - some accidental and some not - in north Georgia recently and the USFS is doing everything possible to protect our forest."
If and when I get updates, I'll post them here.
