Hikes with a stick

I've got a section hike planned in early June from Hughes Gap to US 19E. I'm giong in a group of 4, and we plan to do this section in three days. I've heard the trail head parking lots are targets for thieves and vandals, is there anything else I should know about this section? Anything I don't want to miss, or things I should avoid? Is there any source for a Gamrin GPS that will show the trail, shelter, and water locations? Or just a file out there somewhere with that info?

Check out the WB AT Database (http://www.whiteblaze.net/forum/showthread.php?p=340867). Consider parking vehicles at Mountain Harbour (http://www.mountainharbour.net/main.htm) and Greasy Creek Friendly (a few miles S of Hughes Gap).

That should be a good hike. Have Fun!!!

See you on the trail (& at Trail Days),
