Does anyone know if it is safe and/or permitted to park a car overnight at Level Green Church?

I don't think so but it's worth calling to find out. They use to let hikers camp there but they stopped that. You could leave your car at the Holy Family Hostel in Pearisburg about 10 miles away and have Bill the caretaker drive you there. There is a small 4 car parking lot 1/2 mile further up the trail on rt?. I don't know if I would leave a car there.

Bill told us not to leave a care at the VA42 trailhead or the next one north due to possible vandalism....get Bill to shuttle and donate to the hostel.
