I'm looking for a synthetic summer bag with at least a 66" shoulder girth that has a full zip and is < 3lbs. Anybody have any ideas? :-?

Thanks!

I have had success with The North Face line. Every year they put out an oversized 40 degree rectangular bag that is polarguard and weighs less than 3 lbs. Mine is called the Flash. My son has a newer model but I don't remember the name. Try campmor or The North Face direct. At 6'3" and 300lbs I feel your pain with trying to get gear that fits.

Just bought a Morrmot Trail (long) 1.3 lbs 90ish $. I'm 6'4/235/size 12. Send me a message in a week and I'll let you know how it holds up.

Exercise more, Eat less. Give your food to thin Hikers. Don't use a bag and burn up more calories

Been using that Marmot Trails bag for a week or so and I very much like it. It is defiantly a summer bag- we had a freak chilly night and I was chilly. However it is very comfortable; it has a micro fleece lining, and the zipper zips all the way around your feet so that you can use it like a blanket. New River and Appalachian Trail tested and approved.
