What are your weights not including food and water for summer?

funny you ask - have been looking at this as I'm planning on getting on the trail for a week or so in a couple of weeks...

Total pack weight, without food, water or fuel is a little under 12 lbs...

Big 4 include:

GGVT
HH ULBA
40 deg down bag, 8 oz 3/8" ccf pad
Brasslite stove

12 lbs also assumes I have a camera, a flask of scotch, and a couple of stogies!

My summer base weight for treks of several weeks or more is right on 8 lbs.

I recently dropped shelter weight to 13 oz (Six Moon Designs Wild Oasis) and that took my summer base weight down considerably. I'm now at 6lbs or below depending on what clothing I decide to carry.

3 or 4 pounds for long distance depending on where I'm hiking but I've recently upgraded some of my older equipment and should be able to drop that down.
