I called Matty last night to let him know that there was yet another hiker from his area. This guy does not post here and hates computers. He is hiking south starting from Front Royal and heading south to Springer.
His trail name is "Bad Influence Groundhog." He is hiking with his faithful Akita "Page."
This guy is good people, he and his dog stayed with me last night. So any of you run into him out there hiking south from Damascus be good to him.

Nothing beats Rita's in the summer. It's the best part of this area (ouside of the congestion, smog and attitude). :)

The product doesn't have a nickname. It's called Rita's water ice - hence Rita's.
If you've never had it, mmmmmmmmm mmmmmmmmmmm gooooooood. I always try two flavors when I go. They give you free samples if you want and I love to try them.
