I'm new to this forum so I haven't done an exhaustive search of all the past postings yet, but has anyone published a list or a cookbook with easy one-pot meals for the trail? I'm trying to put together a mini cookbook of sorts to go along with the Penny Stove kits that I sell (www.ACAircraft.com (http://www.ACAircraft.com)). The meals should take no longer than 30 minutes to cook in a pot over relatively low heat, or 10-12 minutes over high heat. Thanks.

Some of the Mountain house Entrees are OK. (way too expensive)
But...
I was thinking of just getting the freeze dried meats to add to stuff I buy along the trail. The Freeze dried meats are very light and rehydrate well but meats are such a pain to try to get "dehydrated" properly. I think I'd spend the extra $$ for the Freeze dried meats.

WildernessDining.com and Beprepared.com are good sources for the FD meats. Nothing wrong with using them, they can help lighten up meals!
