Any leaf color left

in N-GA and Nc? Didn't get enough hiking in up in NH last week. leaving Monday for Ga/Nc.
I did not write a trip report for Franconia Notche as Deb W & Lugnut already have that covered. Nice report BTW. Missed you guys by a week. Also, did some of the LT and Pico but not overnite. I did not get to do my original plans as I met some of the family of that missing 10 yr old and spent 2 days helping to search.

I was in Springer to Neel's Gap starting last Saturday, should be PLENTY of leaf color left.

I live in Dahlonega and right now we still have some color but it's blowing away fast. A friend of miine lives in Suches, GA (just north of Woody Gap) and she says that most of the trees you there are bald. The higher you go the less color. Also we are expecting a good cold front sunday with plenty of wind and rain. That will probably take care of the coor for the year.

Below 4000 ft the Smokys are prime with color. Above, it is getting a bit barren. This is as of this weekend.
