This my first post, but anyway has anyone had any experience with the Gregory Shakra pack?

Hotspur ...if you're willing to go that small (2600 cu in) you ought to take a look at the Granite Gear Vapor Trail, just for comparison sake. Same capacity and a full pound less base weight. I started my hike this year with a Gregory Reality and switched to the Vapor Trail at Pearisburg. It performed quite nicely.

Yes, there is a Shakra. I like a smaller capacity pack for what I do, and I really enjoy the Gregory packs. Maybe its new or something. No one seems to have used it before, strange.
