In another life I was close to a young woman who had burn scars on her leg from her waist to below the knee. Her father had done similarly stupid things involving a grill and charcoal lighter... I don't know what, but something should be done to people like that.

At his age, I'd say he's already reproduced... Never mind blowing himself up (the stupid never do anyway, they hurt innocent bystanders instead), he's going to cause forest fires.

Guys! I can't believe y'all are so harsh. I think his video was great.
I'd like to see his instructions on more types of outdoor equipment, like orienteering, knife sharpening, Coleman lantern lighting, chainsaw operation ... MORE, MORE, MORE!
I can't wait for his rappelling instructions.

Seriously(yes, I know it's hard to believe), I've long thought it would be fun to video some satirical sketches, along the lines of Mad TV, spoofing various backpacking skills.
Better get busy before this fella grabs more market share!

I believe Lil Red has a good story about a girl hiker who set everything on fire with her stove fuel. Tell it Red.
that looks like me the first time I ever used my Whisperlite stove :eek: .
I only used it one other time after that. Switched to canister then alcohol stoves.

It does take a little practice to get just right. You can waste a lot of fuel too.

Zelph, you can see them 'cause the photos are linked from your e-mail program, i.e, they're on your computer. Others can't see them unless you upload them to a website that they can access.
