Dion Alaniz

Hope this goes here .... I was reading through some blogs and I see him mentioned trying to hike from Alabama to Quebec. I checked his geocities site and its gone, archive just has the same thing posted on dianalaniz.com (some explanation about some law school fiasco). Does anyone know if his journals are still up somewhere? Did he make it?
