Hoping someone can help me find this particular issue. I am specifically looking for an article entitled SLACKPACKING REVISITED. I would prefer to buy this issue in whole, but if anyone has this issue and would run me a copy of the article I would be very grateful.

Springerfever, I have all the back issues back to 1972 and I found the article that you want. It is in the Sept/Oct 1994 issue. I won't sell my issue, but would be happy to send you a copy of the article.

Looking at some of your previous posts, I see you were involved with a Land Trust proposal for Rainbow Springs Campground. What is the current status of this property? If still needed, I will be happy to make a donation.
This area is really amazing, both the hiking and the history. Being from Atlanta, its only a two-hour drive to Standing Indian Campground and some of the best hiking in the Southeast. One of the few places where no shuttle is needed....park your car at the campground and hike back to it !
