there is 1 site with water, 2 miles before town. there are other sites with no water.

Planning a trip for early October. How far along the trail are the dry sites? Looking to cook and clean at Abingdon Gap on Saturday afternoon and then hike on a ways Would like to have less than 10 miles back to the truck on Sunday morning.
