A "B" movie (at best) starring Gary Busey just came on at 9 PM on the SciFi Channel, titled "Maneater".

The synopsis is as follows:
"A wild animal goes on a bloodthirsty rampage on the Appalachian Trail."

Silly, I know...but hey, it's Trail-related... :o

A wild animal? Probably a disgruntled would-be volunteer who didn't get chainsaw-certified:eek:

He was good in "The Buddy Holly Story", but it's been pretty much downhill from there...

Looks like he has a few more in the works:

1.Crying 4 U (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0473025/) (2007) (in production (http://pro.imdb.com/r/legacy-inprod-name/inproduction/)) .... Frosty
2.Down and Distance (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1058519/) (2007) (filming (http://pro.imdb.com/r/legacy-inprod-name/inproduction/)) .... Bo Vonarb
3.Niter Tales: The Movie (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0902312/) (2007) (post-production (http://pro.imdb.com/r/legacy-inprod-name/inproduction/)) .... Army Man

I never had anything against him, he just always seemed like the guy you don't want to go drinking with...

Favorite Gary Busey moments? Geez, this'll take a minute.

Well, I've got two anyway.....he does a great scene in drag as a crazed Naval officer in Under Siege. Film also has Tommy Lee Jones as a wonderful psycho and Erika Eleniak leaping out of a birthday cake wearing not much more than a smile. Unfortunately the film also starts Steven Seagal.

Likewise, in the B-Grade revenge flick "Eye of the Tiger" Busey extracts information from some biker thanks to his timely insertion of a stick of dynamite in a place where dynamite is rarely found. Wonder if they've tried this in Guantanamo, it seems most effective. Anyway, any film based on a really horrible song by Survivor has to have its moments.

I'm sure the thoughtful Whiteblazer can add to this list, but the research may take some time....if you Google "bad Busey movies" you get 200,000 hits!

He did do a voice over in Grand Theft Auto, one of the biggest video games ever. He also played himself to excess in the HBO series Entourage. It ain't no act folks, he is one seriously sick SOB. Would hate to spend a night in a shelter with him.

I just watched Gary Busey's son Jake in another "B" movie (at best) this afternoon..."Hitcher II".

You can't forget the crazy war vet he played in Black Sheep with Chris Farley and David Spade. It's a wonder that didn't sweep the oscars. *Note the sarcasm*
