After buying the 40 degree bag, I decided to get a few more things from them.

1) U.L. Down inner jacket
2) U.L. Down inner pants
3) U.L. SS. Down Hugger #1, 15 degree bag

I should get a chance to try these out this weekend while doing the summit hike to MT. Washington. Well at least the jacket and pants. I might try the sleeping bag just for the heck of it while killing some time at the top.

FWIW, I find Mont Bell to be exquisite clothing.

A bit $$$, but they have excellent attention to detail and make fine gear. I've been pleased with my lined windshirt, rain pants and Thermawrap. The Windshirt in particular has gone through much abuse over the past two years.

I have the Montbell Peak Shell (11oz),U.L. Down Inner Vest (5oz), and the U.L. Thermawrap Parka (13oz). I love them all.

Thermawrap pants and jacket. Love em.

Now I have 2 full sets of Mountain hardwear ozone fleece gathering dust.

Great Jackets, I love the one I bought in 2006, and they really hold up.
With this company, you get what you pay for. :)

Have you had much experience with the bag?

I have the Mont-Bell U.L. 40 degree bag also, SUPER COMFY! Warm also. Stuffs small. Dries fast.
I was going to take my Mountain Hardwear 20 degree crazy legs, its still in brand new condition, for the thru-hike - to save money. After using the MB 40 degree bag, decided to go ahead and drop the cash for this 15 degree bag.

Got everything in today - it was shipped yesterday! Man the jacket/pants are really thin but warm, going to make great insulation layers!! The sleeping bag really got my attention - tons of loft for such a lite bag.
I was wondering if they would get here in time for the MT. Washington climb this Sunday, really surprized to see them on my door step - before 9:30 am today!
Well looks like all my buyn is done. Kinda sucks. Oh well guess I can really start working on the small details now - food drops and such.

I get to finally really test my UL SS #2 this weekend. The lows are supposed to hit 34 degrees where I'm going. I'm looking forward to this trip more than any other I've taken yet this year! :banana

Just got the Thermawrap jacket from Camp Saver...I'm guessing it's last year's style or something b/c it was cheaper than the Mont-bell site.

My large is lighter than the TNF zip-up thermal shirt I've been carrying. Hmmm...
