I 'm interested in getting a Packa. I could have sworn last time I lkooed at them, a few months ago, they were sellling for $55. Now they list for $110. Have I bee eating out of aluminum pots for too long or have the prices really doubled?

Naw, they are normally high. I think you may have seen a sale or a discontinued fabric model.

Maybe it was a sale and not my memory. Either way not good for me. I guess the good news is if it is my memory I will forget what I paid for it and it wont be so painfull.

The first shipment of Packas back long ago 6 years or so, did sell for $55. They were a very heavy 200 denier fabric and weighed 27 oz.

I changed manufacturers and went to silnylon, and the priced doubled.

I have a nice one on ebay now. The price is currently $9 + shipping.

It ain't a packcover Lone Wolf. It's a patented invention. I hate the price is so high. But, it is made in the USA.
