Was browsing the Jacks R Better site and on the quilt comparison chart here

http://www.jacksrbetter.com/index_files/Quilt%20Comparison.htm

I saw reference to a "Rocky Mountain Sniveller" quilt. Looks to be a "No Sniveller with an extra inch of down. To me this seems a much better choice for a thicker, winter underquilty than the "Old Rag Mountain" quilt as it would (if I understand it correctly) have the velcro closeable strip like the Sniveller making getting in and out easier.

Unfortunately there is nothing more about the quilt on the website. Has anyone heard anything else about it? Are any of the JRB people reading this? I would email them but maybe can kill two birds with one stone by posting it here.

When will this quilt be available?

Oh wait a minute. Am I confusing the Sniveller with the Nest? I think I am.

The No Sniveller is the one that can be worn like a poncho. :)

The JRB website also mentions using it as an underquilt. Where does the head-hold end up when you use it that way. Right under your rear end?

The head hole seals with Omni Tape like they use around the edges. So there is no "hole" under your rear end. :)

I LOVE mine! Used it this weekend.

Edited to add, and yes it can be used as an under quilt or a top quilt either way.
