I am planning a southbound hike next week from the Nolichucky Bridge to Newfound Gap.Does anyone have any information on water sources.

There are only a couple good sources in between the Nolichucky and Spivey Gap. One south of No Business Shelter, and Oglesby Branch on Flattop.
A good trail side branch with waterfall on Sugarloaf.
There is a fairly good source at Flint Mtn Shelter.
Roaring Creek Shelter is creekside. Plenty of water
Mountain tops will be fairly dry.
