First the story behind this potentially new trail name. I hiked the Bigelows this weekend, and I had just reached the summit of the South Horn. I was talking with some section hikers as we looked at Avery Peak. I was commenting on how that can not possibly be two miles, it had to be atleast 30. He said something to be that has stuck with me "looks like 30, feels like 5, is actually 2". Now, I was talking with my friend and he said that would be an odd trail name, 30-5-2, but it would be a interesting one. I was wondering what you all thought about a number for a trail name.

Kirby, if your trail name isn't already "nutshell", then don't worry about one and it will come to you the natural way.

Sorry man, you're stuck.

Nope, you are living in your own little world right now, it will not stick.

My adcice is to start your thru as Kirby. Let time, hiking companions and the trail do the rest.
