Does one ounce of PB translate to about a tablespoon?

Approximately 1 3/4 tablespoons in one ounce of peanut butter.

They say all of their flavors are sweetened with honey, so unless you prefer sweetened peanut butter, be cautious.

PB and honey is elegant.

Too messy for even home. Once in a great while over the sink. PB and raisins will do...

This stuff sounds way too upscale for my grazing habits.

I do splurge for the blueberry honey. Hear the orange is quite good also.

So... anyone tried this stuff?

Organic nuts!

This is a good thing, most peanut butters are loaded with artery-clogging trans fats, like a lot of other processed foods that hikers eat. I will definitely try these packets, many thanks.

They have been popular over at BP.com, they are selling the packets at Whole Foods and also online at Minimus!

Our local paper had a review of these yesterday. Can't wait to try them. They sound yummo.

All major market brands (JIFF, Skippy, etc.) are sweetened with HFCS (liquid corn). Most Americans are used to that.

Most every decent-sized grocery store has one brand that is made only of peanuts and salt. Trader Joe's has it for either 1.69 or 1.89 for a pound jar. Of course, if you look at what farmers get a bushel for peanuts, that price is outrageous. I prefer plain peanut butter and if I eat it for breakfast on toast, add my own honey or jam.

You'd be surprised actually....a number of brands are going back to molasses for sweetner. And all else fails buy the organic versions or good ol' Adams natural PB. Nothing weird in them!

I spent a few weeks doing consultation work for a Peanut Butter factory. They put some really odd stuff in PB to get the desired thickness, stickiness, perceived smoothness and oiliness, etc; though in comparison to other manufactured foods “chemically enhanced” PB is about as “clean” as you can get.

Smuckers makes peanut butter that is nothing but peanuts and salt. Lots of groceries sell store-ground peanut butter that is also nothing but peanuts and salt.

I get organic peanut butter from Whole Foods supermarkets. The only thing besides peanuts in it is organic palm oil and sea salt.

"Organic Palm Fruit Oil" - I didn't think palm oil was all that healthy for one due to the saturated fats and I can't imagine "Organic Palm Fruit Oil" being much better

Their nutirional info page says "crafted without added oils," which is contradicted by the ingredient panel which includes palm fruit oil. Peanuts have all the fat they need, and it's good monounsatuated fat. Why add junk? I'll stick with my Teddy pb - peanuts and salt.

Now where's that @#$% THINK button???
