I'm thinking we need a water source category...
I second that, but I think the content will mainly be:
Water....we ain't got no stinkin' water!!
Were gonna have to go all "Waterworld" here soon.....

I thought about that a few days ago but decided against suggesting it because "Trail News and Updates" seems pretty appropriate. I think in general things are moving away from extreme categorization in favor of powerful search engines. Some things are hard to categorize: someone might not comment only on water, or if the "Trail New and Updates" forum were broken up into geographic sections, someone might want to report on multiple sections.

no. we need a "there is a drought, assume all water sources are dry and carry your friggin water" thread.
The subject can rightly fit into several forums including straight forward, general, trail updates. Since it's generally a temporary situation, I don't think a new forum is needed.

gotta agree with Sly here... Trail Updates, in particular, is ready-made for issues like "watch out! there's no water at <wherever>".
