I read Juniper's TJ all the way through and really liked it! It's along the lines of my kind of humor. :)

I decided to check it out and have read the first 6 entries. Can agree already that I like his writing style:

I've seen 2 blackflies, a handful of gnats, and maybe a Million mosquitoes! I left the bug jacket in the bounce box, and when I pulled out the DEET I think I actually heard a mosquito laugh. I swear to the grave they were working together (I saw a couple of V-formations) and coordinating their attacks when I was off balance and distracted. That being said, I had to pray tonight for the souls of all the mosquitoes I murdered today. At one point during my killing spree I got 4 in one slap! I am an idiot for not carrying that 2-ounce bug jacket. Oh well, to other topics…

"Last night at the campsite, I met a thru-hiker from Lime Rock, Connecticut. After backpacking from Springer Mountain in Georgia to Kent, Connecticut, he flip-flopped from there to Katahdin and began hiking south to Kent to complete his Appalachian Trail thru-hike. He was running very late in the season and needed to perform this maneuver in order to beat the snows which usually begin near the middle of October, closing Katahdin for the winter to non-technical climbers..."

Hey, there was someone else before me that picked Kent as a flipflop point. Wonder why he chose Kent, too? To at least say he'd made it to CT (Kent is barely into CT for a NOBO) comes to mind.
