The 2008 Thru-hiker's Handbook (the book formerly published by Wingfoot) will be available in early January.
It will be in the same format as the 2007 book, and will be based on the contents of that book. It wil, however, contain substantial updates. I have traveled the southern half of the trail by car over the past ten days or so, visiting as many hostel owners, outfitters, and small towns as possible. I'm trying to make all the data as current as possible.
