My friend sent my this calling it next gen Iphone/Ipod technology and all I could think about was people recharging there cellphones and ipod nanos with it on the trail :rolleyes:

I would think attaching a charger to the knee or elbow would produce more charge.

Interesting idea. Wonder if it would function while attached to something that dangled from a pack (like crocs) or even to the upper portion of a pant leg?
I like this idea (http://www.media.mit.edu/resenv/power.html) even better
shocks in trekking poles would be an even better idea
