For general hiking, with up to two people, and the potential for moving fast and light, how close is this to an ideal tent?

It is a great tent. A friend has one. I use a Six Moon Designs Europa 05 for two people. The Cloudburst 2 had the advantage of steeper sides and more head room for two people. Apples to Apples I might still pick the Six Moons Lunar Duo, but at a reduced price, snap it up.
