Just a quick question, would winter conditions be a problem?

the only places that might be tough to get to would be elk garden and whitetop mtn. just after a snow storm

Thanks, I guess the best thing to do would be to consider that when arranging a pick-up. Thanks, and here's to you on Veterans Day.:sun

I will be un-able to do bad weather shuttles. I have a coupe with many, many miles. Just won't handle the rough stuff. Whan I'm not working, I'd be more then happy to help with "road-crossing" shuttles.

With a friend at the sign shop or Fishin Fred to make me some stickers.I will put them in the Budget Inn bus. That will send a lot of people to Damascus with your name in mind.;)

Generally, as long as I am not working, I can help in shuttling from Damascus south to Devils Fork Gap.

Have to chime in and say how nice it is to see people helping get the word out about reliable, hassle-free shuttles. Over the years, I have had some really great and some really bad experiences with shuttles (no bad experience with AT shuttlers so far, but then I take the advice given on this site about who to call) It is great to be able to contact a shuttler you don't really know with confidence because people you do know have had good experiences.

And, if you make it north of Grayson Highlands, I am usually willing. Check the
ATC shuttle list.--Kinnickinic

There has been some rain lately, but expect some dry sources along Holston going into Damascus. Sources might only come above ground further down than at original sites.

there is water for sure at Hwy 421. a piped spring left of the picnic table. there is no Mcqueens knob shelter. it's an old shack. go to abingdon gap shelter. highs in the 50s, lows in the 30s. 30% chance of rain on sunday. you might see a SOBO or two

The four fellows whom I shuttled up to VA 623 this morning met three SOBOs yesterday just north of Bland. They didn't, however, catch the guys' names, not knowing how we would love to know. There are plenty of guns running around here right now too. But back to the thread, LW, I will be contacting you when the time is right for a shuttle. Do you haul dogs too?--Kinnickinic
