So which would you prefer? MSR Hubba or Sierra Designs Iota?

Neither one. I'm pretty loyal to Mountain Hardwear.

Neither. Give me a hammock any day, I mean night, of the week.

Neither, Eureka full length center zip screen top and full screen entry. Perfect for the AT, given to me by WBer Dawn Treader - el Duderino - in Rangeley 06.

poor poll design. no options for 'neither', 'both', or other more likely answers. personally, i've only a vague idea of what the Hubba is, and none at all of what the Iota is. gimme my tarp anyday.

Jarhead, why dont you stop this thread and go back to the general gear talk and ask member opinions on these tents. as stated above, poor poll.

Perhaps a poll is not the way to ask the question:

"I have narrowed my choices to Huba and Iota, can you share your experiences with either to help me finalize my selection?"

Is that what you were looking for?

You can get your total pack and shelter weight below 3 pounds or less with the gear for sale today.Buy smart the first time.Don't rush into getting 'heavy" stuff only to discover much lighter gear a while later.
