For visitor safety, all trails and lookouts will be closed Monday, November 26 and Tuesday, November 27, the first two days of Pennsylvania's deer hunting season. The Visitor Center will remain open.

Are PA hunters really that scary or are there just alot of Deer roaming around?

No, most are responsible experienced hunters. The numbers of people in the woods with guns are HUGE, thus increasing the numbers of idiots in the woods with guns. Just be careful- wear orange, don't act like a deer- and you should be okay. Its not uncommon to see crowds of hunters in the fields from the highways (78/80/22....)
