I heard somewhere that the 08 Hubba will be a different color and a tad bit lighter.
We just ordered our Hubba Hubba Friday and it should be here Monday (next). It was originally $299, we got it for $199. Can't beat that!! I was able to use the extra hundred for some supplies for my adventure. YEAH!:banana

i got the 08 hubba hubba. and the poles are different from the hubba i got at the end of 2004. they are lighter. maybe they are clearing out old stuff to bring in a newer model with lighter weight poles like the hubba hubba has.

MSR says that the 08 Hubba will be lighter and have a dark yellow fly. There will also be a HP version with less mesh and more fabric for protection.

That's pretty good. I've always liked the simplicity of the Hubba (just screen and "bathtub" floor. However, I could never understand why it costs $250; so I just settled for a $100 Kelty. After one thru-hike, one 500 mile section-hike and two 2-week bike trips, it's still got many more miles left on it.
