Ashby Gap to Harper's Ferry

I am planning a long weekend hike for the spring. We are looking to start in Ashby Gap and hike to Harper's Ferry (about 34 miles). How feasible would it be to park our car in Harper's Ferry and get a shuttle to the Trailhead at Ashby Gap? Or would it make more sense to drive two cars, drop one off in Harper's Ferry and drive the other to the starting place? Comments, advice, and suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I have heard that the outfitter in HF does shuttles. Maybe it would be good to give them a call, or to call the ATC headquarters in HF, and they could probably tell you, since they are locals.
