Anyone hike with Naked Ape a few years ago? Completed a NOBO thruhike.

I hiked MA, VT, and NH with Ape in 99. Never heard him called Naked Ape, so it may be a different guy. Ape wore glasses, was bald, broad shouldered, carryied a HUGE Dana external frame pack.

I checked that photo and Naked Ape isn't the same person as Ape. Sorry if I caused any confuion.
