Golite Cave 2

I just bought a used Golite Cave II for a reasonable price after looking around on the Web.

I want to use it as a two person tent, and I want it to be secure in the rain while still providing enough room for two people and packs. It looks a little tight. Who has experience with the Cave 2? Any hints?

Used a Cave I in the Shennies during my 2003 thru. Had a bug bivy in side and there was still plenty of room for my pack. A Cave II should be more than adequate.

Only suggestion from experience would be to tie about 12" guy lines to all the tie-out loops. You will need that to get the best (taut) pitch and all for elevation of the leeward side of the tarp for ventillation.

I still have my Cave I but haven't used it since the thru. Good memories ...
