Oh yes back to hissy fits. This story comes from my 1998 thru hike as some will remember was an El Nino year. It literally rained for 38 days straight! I was going thru the Smokies when it started raining for theumpteenth time that day. I was allready in a foul mood so I looked up at the sky and yelled "What are you gonna do next SLEET ON ME???!!!!" I then heard a ticking sound which turned into a roar. It seemed like the rain turned to sleet in midair.

YOU and a few others, have an authority issue-problem about talking real trail here.
Let me get this straight, for once and for all, we are all here to talk about the AT right?

hello obnoxious man. you EARN respect, you don't ask for it. i've hiked with half the people you're on here slamming as cyber hikers and they would put you to shame if you ever show you face out there besides right next to your "house". ( IT PUTS ON THE LOTION!!! ) since you have such a problem with people on the internet, maybe you should spend somemore time outside. digging a well, let's say.

You know TMM, you spend time here complaining about respect, but you spend a good bit of your time here and on other sites stirring the pot. You hawked your stoves and proximity to the trail for years on WF's site, while simultaniously bashing him here for supposedly yellowblazing. You throw names around like everyone should bow down to you as a trail celebrity, when the experience and info you claim to have could be used in a more informative way if you weren't so interested in stroking your own ego. I suspect you are just as popular and important in real life:rolleyes:. Too bad. Thank you for your maintenance work, but no thanks, I'll pass on your ego. I'll be camping on the ridge with Rock and company:sun.
