I went over to Trail Journals and checked out your gear list. Rock, and it really is impressive...A couple of questions..

How do get a carabiner to stick to a Gatoraide bottle? Duct tape?

Also the cozy/windscreen looked like a great idea.. but is it safe around food?

Still wondering about reception on the AT.. but that phone with accessories is still lighter than a pocket mail.....

1. Duct tape is NOT safe if the bottle wants to any serious rappelling off your pack.
2. As long as the windscreen is cozy, and not hungry, you should be fine.
3. The door is usually open. Most people just let themselves in.
