Take out the tupperware

I would not take a fire starter, just take an extra lighter. Also, I had the Pocket Rocket and got the bigger canister, 8 oz I think and had about a quarter left after 8 days. Just depends how much you cook.

Also looking at your clothing, where are you hiking and when??

Lookin pretty darn good though

Might want to think about bugs. They get really bad up there.

Earplugs.
Is your light a headlamp? You need a reliable headlamp. Do you need extra batteries unless you're planning on hiking at night? LEDs tend to drop off in strength slowly, giving you warning. For a week, just put the new batteries in and leave the spares at home.
Take two spare pairs of socks, three total.
Your shelter and pack seem a little heavy. I would investigate tarptents and lighter packs unless you are really stuck on the ones you have.
You have extra kitchen stuff like a coffemaker and a cup and bowl. Your hike is only a week, do you relaly need that stuff?
I'm not clear on the fishing line, is it for bear bagging? You should get some kind of cord that won't harm trees for bear bagging. Research the PCT method.

14 lbs. is fine for base weight. You're clear for take off. You may find, initially, that 2 lbs/day for food is a more than you need. But maybe that's just me (and hot-weather hiking.)

It probably will be. Most short-distance hikers can share the large double freeze-dried meals that long-distance hikers eat. But it is always good to carry an extra meal or two, even if it's just a couple of packs of ramen.

I always have to much food, but there never seems to be a shorage of those that do not have enough. So I usuale end up sharing some.

No need. Redundancy is the key. Two cheapo micro-BICs, in different places. Plus maybe a pack or two of matches. Maybe one in your map bag, another in your food bag, the matches somewhere else. You get the idea. The odds of all of these failing at once is slim-to-none.

I have some proforce wind and waterproof safety matches. Never let me down. They fit into a small match container.
