i just got a jet boil for christmas and i havent had the time to check it out, but does anyone know if the jetboil is compatible with MSRs fuel mix?

It'll screw onto an MSR stove, I'm sure the mix will work but I haven't tried it.

Works fine. Larger canister makes it more stable. Don't try and hold it in your hand like they used to demonstrate. Flares.

Don't put oil in the water and turn your back on it.

Do have some fun.

Yes, MSR, Giga-power are compatible. I hardly ever buy the Jetboil fuel, too expensive. I mostly used Giga-power with my Jetboil.

Should be as the valve ends are all built to EN417 standard. The MSR cannister won't nest in the PCD pot though. The mfgs all say you should use their own fuel - liability and marketing.

I too use the MSR cannisters rather than the JetBoil brand . . . much cheaper and works fine!
