I cannot get into Trail Journals - I was wondering if this was a problem on my end or are others having an issue as well?

Having spent a LOT of time on TrailJournals transcribing my 1999 paper journals to digital, I can attest that they are down for an hour or so fairly frequently. Don't worry, they'll come back up after a maintenance break or what not.

7 here. Used by us 2 adult parents and 5 others(ages 15 thru 21). 4 notebooks, 2 desktops, 1 server  , two network printers. Mix of wireless and cable networking. #1 son and I share help desk/IT/geek squad duties.

Just one phone is internet ready.

We have one computer per person in the house - some are homemade projects that we built from parts. The Laptop is a computer I have for personal use when traveling for doing my college courses on.

When it goes down permanently, what happens to content??

SGT Rock
01-01-2008, 00:25
If it ever goes down permanently the content goes away (maybe). There are so many permutations of how a site can go away that there are ways it could possibly go away yet the content be preserved by someone else.

If you have a journal on the site, and do not have it hand written somewhere, you can easily move it to a writing document, like word, for preservation.
