Mid-September for a week, but I haven't decided on the section yet. I'll either go from Pinkham Notch to Rangeley; Standing Indian to Newfound Gap; or Damascus to Erwin. I still have to cover what are supposed to be some of the prettiest sections on the AT: NC, TN, and ME!

I'll be going from Springer to Fontana starting April 1st. My husband and I will possibly be doing some of the Southern VA area this summer and who knows what else. We are wanting to try and get Springer through Southern Va accomplished before heading more north. WE CAN'T WAIT!!

Hope to see you guys out there!:)

Heading out with a few other hardy WB folks for a few days from Jan 10 to 12 going from NJ stateline to NY Thruway. The first of what I hope to be many outings in new areas. I have already been out on the section that I am responsible for doing blowdown work.

Thru hike starting the end of January, I hope. Would like to leave tomorrow. Anyway, that's the plan. BTW - This is my third attempt. Last two summers have tried but been stopped by injuries.

Springer to Standing Indian with Doc sometime in May. Hopefully, another section in the fall like Standing Indian to NOC (about 50 miles or so?). I'll probably do a couple other sections that require no more than a weekend to do, but will have to figure that out later and as the time to do them presents itself. :D

That's the day I started in 2006. Getting close to warmer weather, but will still see snow and ice (http://www.whiteblaze.net/forum/vbg/showimage.php?i=15603&original=1&c=member&imageuser=6936)

Hopefully Winding Stair Gap to Fontana Dam sometime late spring, and a few short sections in Virginia throughout the year.

That April Fool's Bash sounds good Ron. If all goes well, maybe I'll get to fit it in before or after my section hike.
