i was given a north face pack a little over a year ago and i have only used it on some day hikes. however when i tried to get some information on it i could get nothing. it is a north face pack that yaiza 55l in the lower portion of the bag. i suspect it is a different language because the person that got it for me was living in singapore at the time. if anyone could help me identify it that would be great. there is also what seemed to be a cover for the pack zipped away at the bottom of the bag but it turned out to not be wateproof. if anyone has any ideas what that could be for that would be great as well. here are some of the pics. thank alot

Hello there!

I would strictly use this for day hikes or just an over-nighter.

In the first photo that piece looks like a pack liner, not a pack cover. Looks like it was removed from the pack itself. Maybe an additional inside sleeve? I had something similar to this in an old Kelty.

Anyone else?

is there any reason why you think i should use it only for day hikes and overnighters?
