If they are experienced climbers, let's hope they took appropriate gear for overnighting in the cold.
Doesn't sound promising.

Isn't that the same link you posted before? Their location is miles from Mt Hood... I wonder how they managed to get there.

About six miles as the crow flies and at the first road they would have come to
I suspect the followed a line that fell to the right of Palmer and ended up southwest of the lodge. If they had continued to proceed down the canyon they would have ended up on the highway.
I guess the Oregonian keeps thay same address but changes the story that is posted

Very glad they're ok. Sounds like they just got lost in the storm.

I mean I know mountains seem to be named after every Tom, Dick and Harry but I didn't know they really named a mountain "Tom, Dick and Harry".
Good news.
I thought it was Mts Toms, Harry, Dick

Yeah, 5 miles past Timberline Lodge.
You're absolutey right. I guess the speculation would be that they missed the lodge on their descent due to bad weather.
Good they bailed. "Coming back" is a good thing.

That is great news. Glad to hear!
Glad to hear they were found safely, it seems like every year I hear a story about a missing climber(s) on Mount Hood.
