First off, I want to say how cool it is that FishinFred is producing and giving away thousands of the Remember M.E stickers. I don't know the man personally, but I hope to meet him someday, and shake his hand. It's a truly wonderful thing he is doing. Thank you FF.
That said, some people voiced that they thought a patch was a good idea as well. So I'm having the patches made. I can't really afford to give them away, so I thought I'd turn that into a good thing. I'm going to sell the patches for $3.00 each. After I pay for the patches and shipping, I'll take everything that's left and donate it in Meredith's name to either the Longmont animal shelter, or the animal shelter in Georgia. I hope to have them in hand by Jan. 23, or 24. Below is the photo of the sample. PM me, or email me. Paypal or cash.
I'm planning on going for a walk of some length come mid-March, I will try to keep some with me on the trail as well.
I never in my life imagined that the death of someone I didn't know, 1000 miles away, could have such an impact on my life, but it did. It wrecked me. I pray her family may find some peace.
