Can anyone tell me about a nice 3 day hike W/ parking at either end in northern Virgina.

I'm planning to do the same section this spring. We're going to park one car in Harper's as we've done before (plenty of parking options there). I'll watch this thread to see where others recommend leaving another car at our destination - Front Royal. This should be a nice 3-4 day section.
You can park in Harpers at the parking lot and check in with the Rangers. You can then pay for a shuttle from the Harpers Ferry outfitters and hike back to your car.
