Whats the earliest they let you set up in Tent City? What are other options of tenting are there outside of town?
There are quite a few places out of town along the AT and the Creeper Trail to find a good spot, but you should get in here at least a week and a half before to find them. As far as tent city goes, I think last year they let people set up two to three days prior?
