Smokies Mar 31-April3

Hey Col Chaco and I aer doing the Smokies the end of March, if anyone wants to join us. This is our plan for the hike.

Mar 28- Fontana > Mollies Ridge 9.5 miles
or
Fontana > Russell Fields 12 miles

Mar 29- Mollies Ridge > Derrick Knob 8 miles
or
Russell Fields > Derrick Knob 12 miles

Mar 30- Derrick Knob > Mt Collins 13

Mar 31- Mt Collins > Mt Leconte 13.5 miles

April 1- Mt Leconte > Peaks Corner 12 miles

April 2- Peaks Corner > Cosby Knob 12 miles

April 3- Cosby Knob > Standing Bear 13 miles

I left the first day open so we can see how we feel, after the first big climb out of Fontana. Should be nice.

We'll see ya there. My brother and I are starting at the NOC on March 27 and hiking through the Smokies. I can't wait.

One of these days I will figure out how to get 4 to 6 months off from life and really live my life.

Based on my tentative schedule (start date at Amicalola) looks like I'll be at Fontana about that time. Maybe I'll see ya'll there.
