Built my first hammock, it's great. Sorry no pics. I was wondering if there was anyone in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area that wants to do a hang in the near future. I would like to do a weekend hang at state park or anyplace.

its possible. i am busy every spare moment roofing my house but if you got a trip planned let me know. dino valley state park is a good place for hanging.
Sounds good thats about a 1 1/2 hour drive from my location. I was thinking ,maybe the weekend of Feb. 22-24 or the first weekend in March. My 2 oldest kids are ready to try this hammock camping thing, but I figure I'll bring a tent for them just in case.

Doing a fishing trip to Possum Kingdom below dam. Fishing for trout part of annual fish release. Thought about hangin overnight on Feb. 19-20

Dang it, this is about hammocks... I read the head line and thought Texas had reverted back to an older form of executions... oh well...

Hey, If you guys go to dino valley towards the end of Feb. let me know. Well, that is if you would let a normal ground sleeper come along. :D
