New to group, my introduction

Greetings to one and all:

My name is Scott Rogers, and I am new to this forum. I'm 35 years of age, and am to begin my thru-hike attempt on March 22, 2004. I have less than 80 days to go, and am nervous, scared, excited, amd thrilled all at the same time.

In preparing for the A.T., I hiked the Laurel Highlands Hiking Trail (Pennsylvania) in June of 2003, and found it to be a truly rewarding challange.

I look forward to possibly meeting some of you out there on the trail.

Welcome! Some of the finest info I've ever gotten has been at this site. I envy you hiking the trail this Spring - Work, family, and mortgage makes it impossible for me, but thats the choice I've made. Next year you'll be giving us advice. :banana
