After reading some of this forum I went to Meijer's (a midwest centered, Wal-mart type store) for a little mental resupply shopping.
Here a some observed questions I hope to consider when ever picking out food:
1) how will I store it
a. for one time use & its waste
b. multiple meals, waste, & repackaging
2) how will I make it
a. what is needed (stove & fuel, pwd milk, oil, etc)
b. what can I add to make it tastier (sauses, peppers, etc.)
3) how many calories
a. will I be mal nurished
4) How will I clean up.
Maybe this approach will be helpful to somebody. If you have any suggest please post away.
