The manufacturer's website says this tent is factory seam-sealed. Is the manufacturer correct and if not, which seam sealer would you recommend?
Thanks.

It should be factory seam taped and therefore does not need seam sealer

You do not need to seam seal this tent. Mine has been through multiple thunderstorms and even a couple of snow storms. You will be fine, don't waste the time. Never had a problem with anything other than condensation.

Once it warms up and you can, set it up and spray the crapola out of it with a garden hose.

Will make you feel better.

never seem sealed mine. condensation is the only problem you'll run into. unless you get flooded out.

I bought the 2007 version of the MSR Hubba. I havn't used it yet but I had the same concerns; bought seam sealer and then I read the owner's manual and MSR says they don't recommend this tent be sealed.
